Our Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated individuals who bring diverse expertise and passion to Walk With Me. Each member plays a vital role in guiding our mission and ensuring our programs effectively serve the community. Together, they are committed to fostering positive change and empowering those in need.
Orlando Tagaloguin
Founder/President
Orlando Tagaloguin, born in Molave, Philippines, served in the US Army, where his experiences inspired
him to help children in need. After retiring, he founded the Walk with Me Foundation, starting with a
shoe drive that provided over 900 pairs to children in the Philippines. The initiative grew to include
school bags, scholarships, and community support. Guided by his Christian faith, Orlando is dedicated to
bringing dignity, hope, and opportunity to underprivileged children through collective efforts. Together, we can be of service to others!
Edna Tagaloguin
Co-Founder
Edna Tagaloguin, a devoted military spouse and loving mother of four, is known for her compassion and
unwavering support for others. Her kindness and resilience shine as she nurtures her family and uplifts
her community. Edna inspires those around her with a selfless nature and a heart for service. She is a
true pillar of strength and grace, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she meets.
Steven Briggs
Vice President
Steve Briggs is a dedicated leader passionate about community building and mentorship. With years of
experience in business and ministry, he has worked to inspire and guide others toward personal and
professional growth. Steve’s commitment to faith and family drives his efforts in mentoring young
leaders and fostering meaningful connections. A proud father of four. Whether in his professional life or
community service, Steve strives to make a positive impact and empower others to succeed.
Luke Thompson
Treasurer
Luke is a federal and California public works attorney who helps contractors grow their businesses,
improve processes, and navigate legal challenges. He is an active member of Shadow Mountain
Community Church and loves serving his community. Luke is a proud father of three, married to his
brilliant wife, Erin, for over 24 years. In his free time, he enjoys cycling in the hills of San Diego.
Eleanor Briggs
Secretary
Eleanor Cruz Briggs is a passionate speaker who inspires others with her message of grace, hope, and
faith. For nearly 20 years, she has been involved in community work, from coordinating partnerships to
hosting parent engagement classes. Born and raised in Guam, Eleanor has served through mission trips
to South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Albania. She has been happily married for 23 years, a proud mother of
four, and dedicated to faith, family, and making a difference.
